Eco Auto Components Ltd. (EACL), earlier known as Escorts Auto Components Ltd. was originally established by Escorts Ltd. in the year 1971. The parent company was established in 1944 and since then is skillfully engaged in the manufacturing business of two wheelers, tractors, pistons, rings, shock absorbers, oil pumps, etc. It also had forayed into health care and had constructed many world class heart hospitals.
The earlier ventures of Escorts have been successful in their own right, being acquired by international companies like Yamaha, JCB, Class, etc. EACL is a Public Ltd. Company and on 25th June 2004, the management was taken over by a team of technocrats and professionals working in the company, by buying 78% equity from Escorts Ltd.

Owing to the exceptional quality of our auto components we have been accredited with the quality certification of ISO 9001:2000 and are in the process of acquiring TS:16949. All our major suppliers are also ISO Certified.
Infrastructural Facilities
Eco Auto Components Ltd. possesses an area of 12000 sq m. with 7000 sq.m of covered area. 100% power back up is available at our unit which helps us in accomplishing each task with perfection. Our manufacturing units are outfitted with latest equipments and machinery. Our tool designing and manufacturing facility possesses the most sophisticated versions of Jig Boring & Spark Erosion machines. The Carburetor parts manufacturing and testing equipments are exclusively imported from 'MIKUNI' Japan.
R&D Development
Our R&D Engineers are trained in Japan and we have IDEAS & PRO-E workstations for the designing of oil pumps and allied products. We have developed more than 25 types of Carburetors which showcase higher fuel efficiency and low emissions. Regular innovations are consistently incorporated at Eco Auto Components Ltd. to keep the company abreast with the latest advancements in technology.

In some of the companies, we are the single source for oils pumps and other auto products. Our OE customers are Hero Honda, Yamaha, Tvs, Bajaj Auto, Kinetic, Hero Motors, Majestic, Enfield, Birla Power, Greaves, etc.
Our Sister ConcernThe promoters of Eco Auto Components Ltd. have set up a JVC called Dell'orto India Pvt. Ltd., where Dell'orto, Italy has 74% equity and our Eco Auto Components Ltd. Promoter, Bharat Caprihan & Associates have 26% equity.Dell'orto Italy produces 1.5 million Throttle Body Assemblies p.a. and approximately 1.2 million carburetors p.a.The main customers of Dell'orto Italy are as follows:- For Four Wheelers: Ferrari, Lamborghini, BMW, Renault, Fiat, Rover, BOSCH and Valeo
- For Two Wheelers: BMW, Aprilia, Motori Minarelli, Derbi, KTM, MBK, Oiaggio, BRP and Peugeot
